Apply for funding

Åbo Akademi University’s Alumni rf wants to maintain a strong community with an interest in Åbo Akademi University and Åbo Akademi University’s Student Union. After three years of funding topics and associations at Åbo Akademi University to strengthen alumni contacts, the focus of the association now also encompasses the members’ own alumni events.

Funding is available for rent, travel, printing costs, and marketing for an alumni event that is publicly advertised and that also welcomes alumni who have not previously participated in the association’s activities. Funding is not granted for employment, fees, or subsistence. Funding cannot be used for events or projects carried out before the application’s submission, nor for other alumni events organised by other associations.

Funding is paid out upon submission of a report on the completed activities. A condition of payment is that Åbo Akademi University’s Alumni rf is given exposure in connection with the event. The association also retains the right to publish information about the purpose of the funding that has been granted.

The application must be submitted by a member of the alumni association in October, and the project must be implemented before the end of 2024.
